Welcome Back to Term 2

Class Themes

The themes we will be covering in our classroom this term are: Mother's Day and then Community Helpers.  We will also be looking at 'where we can find maths in the world', this is a whole school theme that all year levels will be covering. On our Open Night at the end of the term you will be able to see what all the children have been doing.

Parent Help Roster

We will also be starting a parent help roster this term from Week 3. If you would like to come and help in our classroom please write your name down on the roster, which will be placed on our communication board. We would love help from 8.30 - 12.00 but if you have to leave earlier just let us know.
For those of you who haven't done parent help in a Kindy room before, basically it involves cutting up the fruit in the morning and being on a simple table top activity, which could be a game, a fine motor activity, craft etc. Then you get to come outside and play with your child in the play ground, watch them have fruit and continue our activities until lunch time. Then you can say goodbye before we go out to lunch.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is coming up and we want to celebrate all you fabulous mums. We will be having a special morning at Kindy, which we would love for you to attend. There is a sign up sheet on the communication board outside our classroom. Please write down who will be coming with your child. If you are unable to come, a grandma, aunty or even Dad is welcome.
